Procurement

(Senior) Contract Developer in Procurement

Imagine a future where you lead the development of critical procurement contracts that will lead us closer to a world that runs entirely on green energy

Join us in this role where you’ll get your own areas of responsibility and manage complexity, internal relationships, and ambiguities independently, and prepare recommendations for future contract strategies and simplification. You’ll work closely with other dedicated and experienced stakeholders both in the team and globally across the organisation to secure that major developments within your areas of responsibility are communicated in a polished, precise, and compelling manner to the relevant audience.

Welcome to Procurement
You’ll be part of Template Development & Advisory where you, together with your colleagues, will play an active role in the team’s vision to deliver contract templates, tools, and advice that support our organisation in realising its strategy. We’re a team of five lawyers, all currently located in Denmark, responsible for developing and maintaining all contract templates used across our global procurement organisation and for securing legal compliance in the way we work in Procurement. In our daily work, we apply various digital tools, and we have a strategic aspiration to further develop our products available to the organisation in an efficient and transparent manner. As a team, we’re highly motivated and driven by trust. We work independently with our respective areas of responsibility but have a clear structure of sparing and sharing our learnings and challenges.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • securing maintenance and development of all BIMCO based templates used globally for installation and service vessels charter parties
  • securing maintenance and development of our O&M and Goods Agreements, used e.g., for site investigation campaigns, O&M Services, and global framework agreements for spare parts and major components
  • providing advisory and training directly to the business supporting the negotiation and execution of the contract templates you’re responsible for
  • contributing to Procurement’s long-term strategy for the use of digital tools for generation and control of high-value documents, such as contractual documents, contract notices, and request for proposals.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • hold a master’s degree in e.g. law, business administration, and commercial law, or equivalent, and have some relevant working experience
  • work in a structured manner with attention to detail
  • plan and prioritise your work to meet commitments aligned with organisational goals and foresee and resolve potential bottlenecks and delays
  • deliver multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding and write and edit material for various target populations, tailoring the tone and content to match each audience
  • step up to address difficult issues with a straight-forward approach to communication
  • curiously experiment with and leverage digital tools to enhance compliance and improve user experience.

Maybe you’ve read the above and can see you have some transferable skills, even though they don’t quite match all the points. If you think you can bring something to the team, we still encourage you to apply.
