What are your responsibilities in your role and what does a typical workweek look like for you?
My primary responsibility is to lead a team of data specialists, data engineers, and dashboard developers in designing and maintaining scalable data management workflows, data pipelines, and reporting solutions. This involves ensuring data availability, maintaining high standards of data quality, and ensuring data compliance and security, while fostering a data-driven culture within the organisation.
Each week, I begin by facilitating team planning sessions and addressing any business dependencies or challenges. In the middle of the week, I collaborate with my team members to resolve data-related issues and identify opportunities for optimising data management processes. By the end of the week, I work with stakeholders to explore continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring they have access to reliable, actionable data and reports that drive better decision-making and enhance operational efficiency.
