Choose your career

Ørsted is a global green energy leader, powered by talent, and we want to develop the talent we need in the future. That means that the Ørsted Global Graduate Programme focuses on three different professional fields in which you build on your specific background and interests.

The programme will give you in-depth experience within your professional field.  All fields include two or three rotations in different departments. We hire graduates from several lines of study to take up graduate positions within the different fields:

The programme

The Ørsted Graduate Programme is a two-year journey divided into three main tracks:

Career Accelerator
Career accelerator is the interaction you’ll have with your senior career mentor and fellow graduates. Throughout the programme, you’ll participate in development sessions and virtual action learning to support your on-the-job learning. Your mentor will guide, encourage, and challenge you to make the most of your talent and to increase your awareness of your strengths. You’ll also build a wide network of professional peers to support your future career.

Business Experience
This is the backbone of your learning and development, where you’ll take responsibility from day one and apply your expertise to influence decisions. You’ll handle international project work, build a cross-functional network, and take real responsibility, as you’ll be involved in day-to-day business decisions.

Innovation Lab
Innovation has made Ørsted a global leader in renewable energy, and we’re constantly looking for ideas that’ll help us improve everything from processes to technology. As part of the innovation lab track, we’ve partnered with Singularity University Nordic to give you insight into this area. SingularityU Nordic is responsible for your education in innovation, and you’ll explore exponential thinking and learn how to master high-speed innovation. You’ll immerse yourself in how to apply exponential technologies to create ideas with an impact on the future. We don’t know for sure what the future will bring, but we do know that we want to create a world that runs entirely on green energy, and that we’ll need bright and innovative minds to get us there.
