Trainee Programme

This programme is primarily based in Denmark. You can apply to the trainee programme from December 2024.

UK Apprenticeship Programme

Do you want to start your career with a role that combines extensive learning with hands-on experience? The Ørsted Apprenticeship Programme is designed for people who want to build a strong foundation that will enable future progression in areas such as engineering, management, safety, and project management. This three-year programme combines classroom learning and on-the-job experience to teach you how to safely operate and maintain our offshore wind turbines in the UK or further afield.

This programme is currently available in the UK (Grimsby and Barrow) on completion of GCSEs or equivalent. Applications for the 2023 Wind Turbine Technician Apprenticeship Programme have now closed. The 2023 Wind Turbine Technician Apprenticeship Programme is now closed for applications.

Applications will open in spring next year.  


Taiwan Apprenticeship Programme

Are you looking for an opportunity to combine academic excellence with professional development, while building a future for renewable energy in Taiwan? The Ørsted Taiwan Apprenticeship Programme is designed for second-year bachelor program students at Da-Yeh University (DYU) to obtain the high level of education and experience required to service and maintain safe and efficient operations for our offshore wind turbines in Taiwan and Asia Pacific. 

This programme is available in Taiwan to students enrolled at DYU. You can apply for the programme in mid-2023.
