Ørsted is a global leader in offshore wind and one of the world’s largest renewable energy companies.

Within a decade, we transformed from being one of Europe’s most fossil fuel-intensive utilities to being ranked as one of the most sustainable energy companies in the world. Today, we’re guided by a clear vision: to create a world that runs entirely on green energy.

We provide countries and companies with sustainable, reliable, and cost-competitive energy solutions, mainly based on offshore wind, but also including onshore wind, solar energy, and energy storage technologies. We own or operate 18.5 GW1 of renewable energy capacity and by the end of 2027 our target is 27 GW.

Our transformation to a global leader in renewable energy would never have been possible without the knowledge and passion of our people – one of Ørsted’s most important assets for our continued growth.

At Ørsted, we hire inclusive, results-driven talent who possess a natural curiosity and the expertise to help us meet our vision. Join us and use your skills to drive change towards a greener future.

Our story began in Denmark, but today we operate across Europe, the Asia-Pacific region, and North America. We built the world’s first offshore wind farm in 1991, and we were at the heart of efforts to make offshore wind cheaper than fossil fuels. Today, we continue to lead the way, aspiring to remain the undisputed global leader in offshore wind, while being the leading workplace for talent in offshore wind and a globally recognised sustainability leader.
