In operation since 2010, our Malaysian office has grown from a small team of three software developers to a hub of around 800 colleagues with a broad scope across the global organisation.

Still predominantly specialised in IT and digital services, we work closely with our colleagues in Denmark and Northern Europe to create pioneering IT solutions, supporting Bioenergy, Offshore, Group, and Business Services. Using a wide variety of tools from SharePoint, .Net, GIS, and SAP, we’ve built a strong foundation as Ørsted’s global IT centre of excellence. In 2022, our Engineering, Procurement, Construction & Operations (EPCO) organisation also joined our Kuala Lumpur office.

Vacation:

  • 20 days of vacation leave per calendar year
  • Replacement day off on Fridays provided for public holidays that fall on a Saturday

Salary:

  • 14 % employer contribution to EPF for Malaysian employees across all levels
  • 14 % employer contribution to pension scheme for non-Malaysian employees on top of base salary across all levels

Parental leave:

  • 14 days of maternity leave prior to due date and 120 calendar days after birth
  • 10 working days of paid paternity leave
  • 10 working days of paid adoption leave
  • Global parental leave

Our Malaysia hub in the heart of Kuala Lumpur

From our brand-new head office in Bangasar South, we offer a range of benefits aimed at keeping you engaged, productive, and happy at work. Our Malaysian hub boasts prime real estate, only a short distance from restaurants, food courts, a gym, and LRT station (Kerinchi). Each week, we offer in-house pilates and stretching classes as well as badminton and a running club. We also host the Ørsted Games, a fun and friendly tournament based around sports such as bowling, futsal, badminton, laser tag, e-games, and more.
