Resource Scheduling and Allocation Specialist

Join us in this role where you'll develop and deploy comprehensive manning plans to support project managers and specialised tasks across the organisation. You'll manage efficient resource planning, advise on risks and opportunities, and excel in a dynamic environment with ad-hoc tasks and co-developing new procedures and tools.

Welcome to Special Tasks and Inspections
You’ll be part of ST&I Travel Technicians where you, will manage a team of 18 specialist traveling technicians with diverse expertise, with input from relevant stakeholders. Together, you'll ensure efficient resource allocation for specialised tasks, both locally and globally, contributing to seamless project execution and continuous improvement. As a team, we collaborate closely, seize learning opportunities, share talent across projects, and support ongoing development, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • owning and maintaining a resource planning tool for long-, mid-, and short-term planning, coordinating competencies and special requirements with key interfaces
  • coordinating resources with offshore managers for planned and unplanned activities
  • ensuring efficient resource deployment for 'time-in-turbine' operations with key interfaces
  • developing competence enhancement plans to meet current and future resource requirements
  • assisting management with daily issues and providing weekly and monthly reports.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • work in a structured manner with meticulous attention to detail
  • bring experience in resource planning and coordination
  • have knowledge of Wind Turbine Safety Rules and the industry in general
  • demonstrate excellent communication skills and effectively prioritise and manage your time and tasks, knowing when to seek support
  • are confident working autonomously and collaboratively within a team
  • possess proficient IT skills, especially in Microsoft Office.
