Engineering Intern, WTG Systems

Imagine a future where you’re part of a team responsible for world-class offshore operations and maintenance of wind turbines

Join us in this role where you’ll be part of our WTG team of specialists focusing on corrective actions, improvements, and maintenance optimisation across the entire Wind Turbines, from blades through the mechanical and electrical drive train, all the way to switch gear terminals. You’ll be working together with all our specialists and have a broad exposure to many elements of the WTG system.

Welcome to Global Operation, Asset Integrity
You’ll be part of WTG Systems where you, together with your colleagues, will define best practice for the inspection and maintenance of Wind Turbines. Best practice derives from a mix of operational experience, lessons learned from failures and damages, and operational innovation initiatives. You’ll be closely involved in these activities to ensure that our focus on wind turbine integrity is always up to date and based on the latest knowledge and innovation initiatives. As a team, we work closely together and support each other with our experience and knowledge. We have frequent check-ins across the team, formally and informally, and we support each other across geographies.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • providing day-to-day administration and updating of tools, databases, and overviews, in a strong support to, and in collaboration with the subject matter experts
  • driving activities forward which support your learning, and which match your background and previous experience, as well as your education.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • have a high level of personal drive
  • have the ability to establish and use your network to gain information
  • can interact with colleagues and stakeholders across geographies in an intuitive and supportive way
  • can engage and interact with your colleagues across office locations
  • bring a ‘can do’ mindset with you to work.

Maybe you’ve read the above and can see you have some transferable skills, even though they don’t quite match all the points. If you think you can bring something to the team, we still encourage you to apply.
