Senior USV Specialist
Imagine a future where you’re at the forefront of enabling uncrewed survey vessel (USV) operations across offshore wind farm campaigns globally
Join us in this role where you’ll be trained to independently mobilise and deploy our USV’s. You’ll take part in developing and building new vessels and testing/rebuilding existing vessels to fulfill demands for future use cases. We’re looking for people to join our team, enabling us to meet our targets and set new standards for offshore low emission measurement campaigns. You’ll be responsible for keeping a USV campaign operational in all aspects, e.g., the USV as a platform and all installed sensors, making sure that high quality data is delivered to all relevant stakeholders.

You’ll be part of the USV team where you, together with your colleagues, will be working at the forefront of a new offshore technology that enables uncrewed operations at scale in the offshore wind industry. You’ll be part of a growing team with broad competences spanning across measurement engineers, data scientists, and USV specialists. As a team, we embrace a culture of open and honest communication. You’ll play an important role in:
- precampaign planning, prechecking, and testing the USVs
- running launch, operation, and recovery of USVs
- troubleshooting and repairing onsite or supplying remote backup for technicians
- leading and participating in planned maintenance electrical and mechanical onsite
- participating in development and testing of vessels for future use cases such as geophysical surveys.
To succeed in the role, you:
- are ready to learn and perform to our safety standards
- are experienced in marine electrical and mechanical work
- are experienced in computers/PLC’s and testing/troubleshooting software
- have experience from international projects using USVs
- have vessel pilot experience for small boats/work boats and are able to obtain certificates to work offshore.
