Senior Language Specialist (one-year maternity cover)

Join us in this role, where you’ll be responsible for providing language services and language consultancy, as well as ensuring a high language quality across the entire organisation.

 

Welcome to Global Corporate Communication
You’ll be part of our Global Language Services team, where you’ll be one of two language consultants providing language services and consultancy across our business’s footprint. You’ll work closely with your colleagues in Global Corporate Communication, supporting your primary stakeholders in Global Stakeholder Relations and colleagues from across the organisation. You’ll also join an on-call scheme where you’re on duty after hours every second week, incl. weekends. As a team, we provide feedback to learn. The work environment is friendly and collaborative, and you’ll engage with a diverse range of global stakeholders, enabling you to showcase your cultural proficiency.

 

You’ll play an important role in:

  • validating translations handled by our external language service providers
  • providing linguistic revision of internal and external communication deliverables
  • providing linguistic revision of video subtitles
  • providing language consultancy to your colleagues across the organisation
  • translating confidential internal and external communication.

 

To succeed in the role, you:

  • have extensive experience in translating, editing, and proofreading in English and Danish
  • have native-level understanding of English and Danish
  • have the ability to deliver high-quality language deliverables within tight deadlines
  • are service-minded and have an analytical mindset
  • thrive in a dynamic and ever-changing work environment
  • have experience in working with CAT tools, such as Phrase.
