Welcome to Offshore Operations
You’ll be part of Vibration Diagnostics where you, together with your colleagues,  become an integral part of the Diagnostics department, collaborating with a team of specialists dedicated to maintaining the integrity of our wind turbine components through advanced diagnostic techniques. You’ll engage with key stakeholders across various departments to align strategies and enhance our diagnostic capabilities. As a team, we embrace diversity of thought and action. We’re a close-knit team of specialists that deeply enjoy condition-based maintenance and pride ourselves in making a direct impact on reliability and performance of our renewable energy assets.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • developing, testing, and implementing advanced vibration diagnostic algorithms that provide accurate diagnosis and prognosis of drivetrain faults for both legacy fleet and new wind turbine platforms
  • actively participating in daily monitoring tasks and providing expert analysis and guidance on vibration data and events
  • leading the evaluation of diagnosis processes to establish a performance track record and systematically identify areas for improvement
  • leading the documentation of vibration diagnostic models and analysis concepts, as well as training peers in the intricacies of vibration diagnostic analysis to ensure a high level of expertise within
  • collaborating closely with IT to define and establish functional requirements for diagnostic tools and systems, aimed at supporting and significantly enhancing operator efficiency and diagnostic precision.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • possess a mechanical engineering degree or similar, with a deep understanding of vibration diagnostics for rotating machinery
  • have extensive experience with scientific programming in Python and SQL
  • are proficient in English and excel in creating results through teamwork and communication at all levels
  • bring at least 3 years of professional experience in data analysis and visualisation within an industrial setting
  • understand the principles of reliability-centred maintenance and have a keen interest in how to operationalise condition monitoring.
