Senior Software Engineer

Join us in this role where you'll architect and build end-to-end data engineering solutions that provide the foundation for our colleagues planning the maintenance of the windfarms. You’ll be part of our Agile Release Train (ART) Advanced Analytics where you, together with your colleagues, will develop and maintain products to better operate our wind farms. We use data to make wind power operations more sustainable, transparent, and profitable. The team prides themselves in contributing to the efficiency of the windfarms and thereby play an important role in the green agenda. We want every planner and scheduler in the organisation to have a digital companion to assist them with making better decisions together, so that we can operate efficiently. You’ll play an important role in:

  • building, maintaining, and owning several products with the aim of providing insights and intelligence to those who plan and schedule maintenance and major repair processes
  • participating in all stages of development and implementation of important systems with high quality results
  • participating in continuous improvement of development processes and application maintenance
  • actively engaging in team activities, such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • are experienced in .NET Core, .NET, C#, and understand clean code principles and object-oriented programming
  • are proficient in Azure Cloud technologies and container technologies, such as DevOps, Git Repository, Build and Release (CI/CD)
  • are proficient in Relational Database Management Systems (RDMS), such as SQL Server
  • are familiar with Angular and Python development
  • are open to reassessing your methods and eager to exchange insights with the team
  • are a team player with a collaborative spirit, naturally engaging in a diverse team.
