Welcome to Offshore Cable Installation in Offshore Construction & Logistics under Project Services
You’ll be part of the Offshore Construction & Logistics management team where you, together with your colleagues, will be heading a diverse team and be responsible for providing competent resources to development and asset projects in a matrix organisation. You’ll lead two sub-departments with employees across Europe, the US and APAC consisting of 60 offshore installation managers, specialist, and engineers, who share complementary skills and a common commitment to delivering high quality work. The function also develop and own the standards, best practices, tools and processes essential for the projects to succeed. You’ll play an important role in:

  • optimizing and developing the area, and implementing strategies and goals to fulfil our transformation and ambitions
  • ensuring delivery of resources, scope, quality assurance and continuous improvement of ways of working, tools and processes to support project success
  • fostering an environment where both the manager and their direct reports are empowered to thrive and develop into a a high-performing team
  • ensuring that the department supplies skilled and competent resources to projects, including recruitment and operates a supportive competence centre within the function
  • leading the development and implementation of the aforementioned tasks  in our global market in collaboration with colleagues in the Offshore Construction & Logistics management team
  • ensuring effective stakeholder management with both internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring opportunities are captured to benefit portfolio and project efficiency and business cases.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • have leadership experience from large, complex, international organisations preferably offshore related
  • exhibit proven people leadership skills with a track record of effective communication and social skills, a commitment to  inclusion and diversity and experience in leading other leaders
  • demonstrate effective problem-solving abilities in dynamic and complex environments
  • possess project leadership experience, extensive knowledge of international project management, and hands-on experience with all phases of the construction of large offshore infrastructure projects
  • display exceptional proficiency in collaborative stakeholder management, adeptly building connections between teams with an empathetic, inclusive and appreciative leadership approach
  • have a degree in engineering or similar
