Ørsted’s journey in Ireland began back in 2021. Today, we’ve over 100 staff based out of our Cork City offices. Our goal is to help Ireland halve its emissions by 2030 and transition to net-zero by 2050.
Our team works hard across a number of departments – from commercial, to finance, to project delivery, and many more. There’s something for everyone in Ørsted Ireland.
We’re always on the lookout for the best and brightest minds to join our team so if you think you might be a good fit, please check out our opportunities below!

Our projects in Ireland
Ørsted operates an onshore wind portfolio of 378 MW in Ireland across 21 wind farms. In addition, we’ve entered a partnership with the ESB to develop an offshore wind farm, with the potential to generate 5 GW of clean power. Also, 2024 saw us begin construction on our first solar farm – Garreenleen, Co. Carlow.
