Join us in this role where you’ll have responsibility in the management of utility scale solar PV projects assigned to you., You’ll be bringing planning consented projects through a comprehensive tender process to enable financial investment decisions, and managing the approved budget through delivery, commissioning, and handover to Operations.

You’ll be part of the Delivery team where you, together with your colleagues, will bring projects from development through the construction phase and handover to Operations.

You’ll play an important role in:

• being responsible for multi-contract or EPC-based utility scale solar PV projects in Ireland and the UK during both pre-construction and construction phases of the project
• each phase of the project, from project refinement, through tendering process, Financial Investment Decision (FID), construction, commissioning, and handover to Operations
• assisting the Solar Technical team on optimisation of solar PV technology, incl. module/inverter types, manufacturers and technology selection, and solar array layouts
• managing contractors’ performance on projects sites, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, quality, and project specifications
• liaising with project stakeholders, incl. statutory authorities, and construction interfaces between the various contractors and relevant external third parties
• reporting on project safety, programme, cost, and quality progress to senior management and proposing corrective actions as required to achieve agreed project objectives.

To succeed in the role, you:

• have a strong cultural belief in safety and extensive project management experience in large capital solar PV projects in the renewable sector
• have strong interpersonal skills as well as good negotiation skills
• are able to lead a project team on site to a high level of performance
• understand the PSDP/PSCS or CDMC processes
• have the ability to work with multidisciplinary project stakeholders, incl. the technical and legal fields
• are driven to meet deliverables on target, with attention to detail, and understand the technical and regulatory requirements to deliver utility scale solar PV projects.
