We want to create a world that runs entirely on green energy, and believe that today's children will play a key role in realising the transformation from fossil-based fuels. Despite this, recent studies* show that most parents have a hard time communicating climate change to their children.
We therefore feel it’s important to help parents inspire their children to love the place we all call home, and to be aware of why and how we can protect the planet. Our new book ‘Is this my home?’, and the online universe that accompanies it, is one of the first initiatives in this new focus, which will provide parents with tools to inspire their children to help take action against climate change.
The book is illustrated by multiple award winning South Korean illustrator Yeji Yun and created as a joint effort by Ørsted and our close creative partners Wieden+Kennedy Amsterdam. Sean Henrik Moore, the author stated in the book, is pseudonym created as a representation of our collaborative effort.
We hope you enjoy ‘Is this my home?’, and that it inspires you and your children to love your home and help create a world that runs entirely on green energy.
