Ørsted’s sustainability report for 2017 builds optimism, trust and a clear vision for a future run entirely on green energy say the judges of Denmark’s annual CSR Prize.
The CSR Prize seeks out best practices in economic, social and governance (ESG) reporting among Denmark’s biggest companies. Ørsted won a recognition (in Danish) for its Sustainability report 2017, ESG performance report 2017 and Annual report 2017, at the 2018 CSR prize awards.
The judging committee said Ørsted is a “role model” for reporting practices on sustainability and the transition from fossil fuel to green energy. “[The report] leaves the reader with optimism and trust that the company does what it says, by publishing a report that is brief, precise and reliable, and clearly establishes a vision for a future based on green energy,” said Denmark’s Crown Princess Mary, when announcing the recognition.
