DONG Energy selects contractors for operation and maintenance of gas grid

The contractors I. Anker Andersen A/S and Kemp & Lauritzen win framework agreements with DONG Energy's distribution company.
With the recent selection of contractors for the operation and maintenance of the company's gas grid in Southern and western Zealand and Southern Jutland, DONG Energy has completed a comprehensive tender round. During the next five years, DONG Energy expects to enter into contracts totalling a value of approximately DKK 170 million with the selected contractors.

Anders Vikkelsø, Vice President, said: "We want to gather our supplier agreements and enter into long-term strategic cooperation with a few, qualified and motivated partners.

This applies to our electricity and gas grid, and I'm happy that we now can announce our coming business partners on our gas activities. I'm looking forward to developing the cooperation with the two contractors in the coming years."

The framework agreements are divided into two sub-contracts, one of which was won by the contractor I. Anker Andersen A/S (with Over Jerstall VVS as a sub-supplier). This agreement covers all operation and maintenance services related to the gas distribution grid during the given period.

Kemp & Lauritzen A/S won the second sub-contract, which covers a comprehensive renovation of DONG Energy's meter/regulating stations (MR stations).

In May, contractors were selected for operation and maintenance of the power grid.
