Following today's announcement from The Ministry of Finance of the Kingdom of
Denmark, DONG Energy A/S confirms its readiness for an IPO and a listing on OMX
Nordic Exchange Copenhagen A/S.
The initial public offering is expected to comprise a sale of existing shares
to Danish institutional and Danish private investors, as well as to
international institutional investors. Prior to the planned offering of shares,
DONG Energy's shareholders are the Kingdom of Denmark (73.0%), SEAS-NVE Holding
A/S (10.9%), and former shareholders of Elsam A/S (16.1%).

Citi, Danske Markets and Morgan Stanley are Joint Global Co-ordinators and
Joint Bookrunners for DONG Energy's IPO. Nordea is Joint Lead Manager. ABN
