Join us in this role where you’ll as a temporary logistics optimization specialist drive data collection and reporting of logistics performance insights.

 

Welcome to Generation Digital & Technology, Business Applications Product Line
You’ll be part of Offshore Logistics Coordination & Tracking Team where you, together with your colleagues, will provide the global offshore management system, data sharing capabilities and reporting required to execute, monitor and continuously improve offshore logistics operations at Orsteds APAC, USA, EU and UK offshore wind power sites according to local requirements and global KPIs.

As a team, we value constructive collaboration and communication where we work closely with internal and external partners to help mature and improve logistics performance and utilization.

 

You’ll play an important role in:

·       working with global stakeholders, data providers and logistic specialists across Wind Power O&M and Construction sites, translating vague requirements into concrete reports and delivery of insights

·       taking lead on collection of annual global benchmark numbers and monthly ESC accounting data related to logistic operations

·       supporting local logistics performance improvements by delivering relevant understanding of KPI’s, metrics and data performance insights and participation in vessel supplier dialogues especially for European operations (Netherlands, Germany)

·       being a global point of contact to handle support requests for vessels and new contracts

·       contribute to a new helicopter operations concept with data collection and processing

 

To succeed in the role, you:

·       have proven data analysis and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret raw data and uncover insights and can debug data quality or logic issues

·       have Power BI Proficiency in order to create and maintain reports, dashboards and data visualizations e.i Using Power Query Editor for data transformation and Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) for calculated columns, measures and KPI’s

·       have data modeling experience: Understand relationships between tables, ability to design star and snowflake schemas and overall create efficient and optimized data models

·       can manage data integrations connecting to various data sources (SQL Server, Excel, SharePoint, APIs etc. and with the ability to merge and clean data as needed. Knowledge of basic data warehousing concepts helps
