Programme Manager

Join us in this role where you’ll be managing a track in our NIS2 Programme. You will lead the assessment of Ørsteds IT Operation and Outsources IT Services in relation to specific NIS2 requirements, and, depending on the outcome, prepare specific mitigating activities to comply with NIS2 as well as implementing those deemed required. This Project is one of overall 8 workstreams in Ørsteds NIS2 Cybersecurity Programme and the role will be reporting to the Remediation Delivery Manager.

You’ll be part of the Competency Centre for IT project managers where you, together with your colleagues, will deliver high-impact projects across Ørsted’s global IT landscape. You’ll work in a matrix organization, where you’ll be anchored in a central project management team while delivering into business-led initiatives across IT and operations.

Your first assignment in Ørsted will be driving an assessment of Ørsteds IT Operation and Outsources IT Services in relation to NIS2 requirements. NIS 2 is an EU directive that introduces a unified set of requirements and measures for managing cybersecurity risks, reporting incidents, addressing supply chain vulnerabilities, and promoting cooperation especially within critical sectors like energy.

While the initial focus will be on the NIS2 project, the role offers the opportunity to contribute to broader IT initiatives across Ørsted, including for example implementation and process optimization.

 

You’ll play an important role in:

  • creating strong relations to the programme’s key stakeholders at all levels and ensuring deliverables together with the agile delivery organizations
  • reporting to the NIS 2 Programme on targets, progress, risks, and impediments
  • being part of a professional community with other Project managers/Programme managers, contributing to building strong capabilities within the area of Programme Management.

 

 

To succeed in the role, you:

  • have successfully managed and led several IT Operations projects and understand related processes
  • possesses an in depth understanding of how Cyber Controls are implemented within an IT operations environment, including risk assessment and risk mitigation activities
  • have completed multiple IT operation assessment in relation to compliance assessments, i.e., ISO, EEC, GDPR or Schrems (and potential NIS2)
  • have a technical foundation within IT Operation, Sourcing or similar technical environments
  • are highly efficient in both verbal and written communication and can convey complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • have strong analytical abilities and is a proactive problem-solver
  • excels in planning, coordination, reporting and execution and always ensures that deliverables are in line with established milestones
  • facilitates timely decision‑making and maintain transparent escalation pathways.
