Imagine a future where you help strengthen cyber security and compliance across a global renewable energy company while developing valuable skills in risk management, data analysis, and process improvement.

Welcome to Risk & Compliance

You’ll be part of Risk & Compliance within Cyber Security, where you together with your colleagues will help protect Ørsted’s critical systems and information through governance, risk management, and compliance activities. Working alongside experienced specialists and fellow student assistants, you’ll contribute to operational processes, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives across the organisation. As a team, we value collaboration, knowledge sharing, and finding smarter ways of working.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • running daily compliance processes, including supporting the dispensation process for security control deviations
  • addressing queries via email and ticketing systems, and coordinating with colleagues to ensure timely resolution
  • assisting with data collection, analysis, insights, and reporting for risk and compliance activities
  • maintaining and updating documentation, guidelines, procedures, and process materials
  • supporting continuous improvement initiatives, including opportunities for automation and process optimisation
  • contributing to governance activities by preparing materials, tracking actions, and supporting stakeholder communication.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • are pursuing a degree in business, risk management, cyber security, information technology, law, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and enjoy working with data
  • possess excellent communication and teamwork abilities, and can collaborate effectively with different stakeholders
  • have experience with Excel, Power BI, or similar tools, and are comfortable working with data and reporting
  • have a positive attitude, strong drive, and an eagerness to learn and develop new skills
  • thrive in a dynamic environment, take initiative, and have a structured approach to your work.

Maybe you’ve read the above and can see you have some transferable skills, even though they don’t quite match all the points. If you think you can bring something to the team, we still encourage you to apply.
