DONG Energy closes sale of shares in Swedegas AB

As announced in December 2009, DONG Energy and the other owners of Swedish gas transmission company Swedegas AB have decided to sell their shares in the company to EQT Infrastructure Fund (EQT). The Swedish competition authorities have now approved the transaction, which was therefore closed today. Accordingly, DONG Energy has sold its 20.4% stake in Swedegas to EQT. EQT has also taken over the shares of the other owners (Statoil, Fortum and E.ON Ruhrgas). The proceeds from the sale will be reflected in the expectation for the profit after tax for the financial year 2010. The information provided in this announcement will not change the previous financial guidance for the financial year 2009 or the expected investment level.
