Local Stakeholder Liasion
Imagine a future where you lead Ørsted’s work communicating and interacting with project landowners and local stakeholders such as local officials and community leaders.

Join us in this role where you’ll serve as a consistent point of contact with landowners, local stakeholders, and community leaders throughout the development and execution of projects. You will assist the team in identifying appropriate community investments, donations, sponsorships, volunteer activities, and speaking engagements while tracking such activities. You will also develop presentations, identify venues, and ensure the proper Ørsted brand standards are met.

You’ll be part of Central and East Development where you, together with your colleagues, will coordinate and collaborate with various internal teams including the Head of Local Engagement on landowner and local stakeholder interactions and engagements.
As a team, we exercise initiative and independent, proactive planning within a team structure, guided by Ørsted’s mission and needs along with manager direction.
You’ll play an important role in:
- meeting with landowners once the project has achieved a critical mass of real estate acquisition in coordination with Development, land agents, and Land Administration
- developing and executing a program for proactive, regular communication with consistent messaging to landowners and local stakeholders through a variety of media in coordination with Development, Land Administration, Communications Branding and Marketing, Government Affairs, and external consultants
- coordinating landowner welcome gift program, including identifying appropriate gifts, ordering, and delivery
- building a wider supporter base using landowner connections, such as their friends, relatives, and community groups
- assisting the Government Affairs team and industry partners in mobilizing landowners to support pro-renewable policies and initiatives.
To succeed in the role, you:
- demonstrate a strong customer service mindset
- have excellent interpersonal skills to build friendly relationships with stakeholders in multiple demographics and backgrounds, both internally and externally
- can clearly communicate ideas and concepts to a diverse range of stakeholders
- track and organize data and information collection for proper record keeping, analysis, and reporting
- have experience interacting with local officials and community leaders.
