Senior Contract Manager

Join us in this role where you’ll play a key part in the execution of high-value and complex contracts for one of our global offshore wind farm projects. As Contract Manager, you’ll be handling and negotiating claims, preparing variation orders, and handling the day-to-day correspondence with the suppliers in alignment with your internal stakeholders. You’ll also be handling the commercial parts of the contracts, such as the milestone payments.

Welcome to Offshore Wind Project Procurement
You’ll be part of our Offshore Wind Contract Management where you, together with your colleagues, will manage our supplier contracts in the execution phase of one of our European offshore wind farm projects. You’ll work closely with your project colleagues in a team-based and supportive environment. As a team, we like to have fun and support and help each other out where needed.

You’ll play an important role in:

• managing the rights and obligations in our contracts, including the assessment and settling of contract claims and variations
• ensuring that key cost, schedule, and quality objectives are met, whilst proactively managing risk and seeking commercial optimisation opportunities
• preparing negotiation strategies and conducting actual negotiations
• driving supplier performance and relations management
• providing clear contractual advice and recommendations to cross-functional stakeholders and the project management team.

To succeed in the role, you:

• have experience in contract management or procurement roles on large-scale construction projects, e.g. related to manufacturing, or in connection with the installation of components
• possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a demonstrable track record of providing evidence-based assessments and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders
• have a holistic commercial mindset and are able to consistently deliver strong results whilst balancing dynamic and sometimes competing priorities
• have proven supplier relationship management skills, enabling you to communicate professionally with key business partners whilst maintaining contractual and business objectives
• are proactive, seeing risks and opportunities up ahead and managing appropriately.
