IT Product Manager for Ørsted Data Ecosystem

Join us in this role where you’ll responsible for driving the next generation state of the art cloud-based platforms and tools offerings in and around big data and data warehouse management, the Ørsted Data Ecosystem. In this role you’ll be steering towards the provision of modern customer-centric, innovative, and reliable data products, thereby ensuring optimal data processes, transparency, and reusability in the company. You’ll be in close dialogues with data owners and related stakeholders in the business and in IT, bridging the end user needs with forward-looking tools and technology roadmap within given opportunities.

Welcome to the Ørsted Data Ecosystem IT Product Line
You’ll be part of the agile IT Product Line for Cloud based Data Platforms where you, together with your colleagues, will lead a strong and globally diverse team located in Denmark, Poland, and Malaysia. The organisation is responsible for the portfolio of Cloud-based Data Platforms, tools, Self-service Products and data Integrations and preparations. In your role, you’ll be in close collaboration with business owners, IT leadership, and key customers. We strive to be on the forefront of technologies to drive a continuously mature and future proof product offering to service data products. As a team, we work in close collaboration across product line teams, business units, and geographies to ensure we deliver cross- value adding capabilities and self-service access to core services.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • maximising value creation and driving development of cloud-based data platforms and products
  • creating product roadmaps for reusable data products for analytical and reporting use
  • working on concepts of distributed data ecosystems, such as data mesh and data fabric
  • creating automated self-service data through data preparation products and services
  • shaping a high-performing culture within the delivery organisation and assuring operational excellence of the assigned application portfolio
  • defining priorities and resolving associated constraints and managing a diverse stakeholder portfolio.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • possess a relevant education in software or data engineering, computer science, or similar, to drive product ownership within the cloud data technology remit
  • have extensive experience defining and managing cloud-based data products in larger organisations
  • have experience from complex businesses and supporting organisations with global presence as well as solid experience with SAFe agile product development
  • have proven track record of successful stakeholder management and experience leading and managing complex projects and teams
  • have strong leadership skills and can impact the organisational direction in a strategic time horizon
  • have great communication skills, are familiar with intent-based leadership, and know how to lead in an ever-changing environment.
