Interview and tests


At the interview, we’ll focus on your professional and personal qualifications, your expectations, and the team, the role, and Ørsted’s culture and values.


Depending on the job, you may be invited to come for more than one interview with us. We often use personality and aptitude tests in order to find the right candidate. Tests are used to supplement the information you give us in your application and at the interviews. You’ll always be given a chance to comment on any tests and provide further input.

Prepare for the interview

The interview is an opportunity for us to better understand you and your experience, and for you to better understand us and the role! You should consider the following:

  • The job advert will be removed from the site after the application deadline so make sure you save a copy
  • Be clear on the competencies we’re looking for
  • Prepare concrete examples of situations from your work life or other relevant contexts where you have demonstrated the required competencies
  • Be prepared to describe the situation, the task you were facing, the action you took. and the results you achieved
