DONG Energy A/S successfully issued Sterling bond

DONG Energy A/S has today successfully issued a GBP 500m bond with a maturity of 30 years. The issuance was made under the company's existing debt issuance programme (EMTN programme). Key details of the transaction: Size: GBP 500m Maturity date: 9 April 2040 Coupon: 5.75 % Spread over Gilt (UK government bond): 118bp Listing: London The issuance gathered significant demand with the order book being several times oversubscribed. “We are very pleased with the positive reception on our debut to the Sterling bond market. The obtained financing goes hand in hand with our increased presence in the UK where we are building offshore wind farms, a gas-fired power plant and are developing our gas & oil discoveries West of Shetland.
