Cover Shift Operator

Join us in this role where you’ll be responsible for operating the mobile plant as well as supporting day-to-day operations on site. 

Welcome to Renescience Northwich 

You’ll be part of Operations & Maintenance where you, together with your colleagues, will operate and maintain the Renescience plant, ensuring that a productive and safe culture is at the forefront of day-to-day activities. Our Northwich Renescience plant is a bioresource facility which uses the patented Renescience technology to convert household waste into green energy.  

You’ll play an important role in:  

  • operating and maintaining the mobile plant – telehandler, shunter, etc. 

  • coordinating with hauliers and coordinating deliveries to site 

  • monitoring and cleaning the sorting hall and infeed systems 

  • supporting all other operations on site on a daily basis. 

To succeed in the role, you:  

  • have mobile plant experience 

  • have heavy industry experience 

  • are highly focused on safety with proven knowledge of and experience with QHSE standards and best practice, including SOPs and LOTOTO 

  • have good organisational and communication skills with the ability to communicate with others at a technical and non-technical level 

  • are proactive and responsible and can work both independently and in a team.
