Lead or Senior Financial Analyst

Join us in this role where you’ll play a key part in an array of M&A activities in the offshore wind space, working closely with both internal and external stakeholders, including financial advisors, lawyers, auditors, and tax advisers, and where you’ll gain exposure to the company’s senior management.  

Welcome to M&A Valuation & Structuring 

You’ll be part of the M&A Valuation & Structuring team where you, together with your colleagues, will enjoy a key role in our M&A and partnership transactions, which include project acquisitions and divestments, establishment of equity partnerships, and structuring of financial products. The deal size typically varies from anywhere between GBP 20 million to GBP 2 billion, counting some of the world’s largest M&A transactions within offshore wind. 

You’ll play an important role in: 

  • performing valuations of renewable energy projects for acquisition or divestment 

  • providing relevant financial analyses of M&A projects to support informed management decisions 

  • developing, maintaining, and operating business cases and valuation models for our M&A projects 

  • ensuring high-quality and on-time deliverables across several projects 

  • contributing to and participating in cross-functional and corporate development projects 

  • functioning as an internal sparring partner for team members.  

To succeed in this role, you: 

  • have a master’s degree in finance, economics, or similar, where you’ve consistently proved top-tier performance 

  • have experience from a similar position in a large group, the Big Four, or from investment banking, where you’ve gained hands-on experience with energy and infrastructure projects, performed valuations, and managed complex processes 

  • are proficient in and enjoy working with advanced discounted cash flow valuation, tax, and accounting 

  • are a highly proficient user of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint and speak and write English fluently 

  • have strong communication skills, enabling you to present your results professionally to your business partners 

  • work systematically, show responsibility, and are able to deliver high-quality solutions.

Please note that you’re expected to do some travelling in relation to your work, as you’ll visit our headquarters in Denmark and will also travel in relation to international M&A transactions.
