Lead Sourcing Manager

Welcome to Renescience
You’ll be part of the Renescience Business Support department, which is overall responsible for providing the conditions for the business to deliver on its targets. You’ll be engaged locally at our Renescience plant in Northwich, Chesire, and you’ll be part of a team of skilled and dedicated experts.
You’ll play an important role in:
sourcing and managing the key contractors responsible for the offtakes and recycling of output products from our Renescience facility
seeking out new commercially attractive recyclate opportunities both in the UK and abroad
ensuring environmental compliance of all recycling operations and supporting the ongoing development of Renescience in the UK
be responsible for contract administration, including interpretation, commercial advice, securities, payments, procedures, divestment, novation tasks, commitments, training, etc.
developing cost estimate at completion for each contract and managing commercial risks, including identification, valuation, and mitigation.
To succeed in the role, you:
have a cross-disciplinary background based on a bachelor’s or master’s degree in economics, engineering, or another relevant education within environmental issues
have experience with sourcing in large organisations
have experience from the waste industry
have strong communication and negotiation skills
speak and write English fluently at negotiation level and have solid presenter capabilities for larger audiences
thrive in an international environment, are able to create good relationships with your stakeholders, and have strong networking skills.
