Welcome to Regulatory and External Affairs for Ørsted Region UK

  • building relationships with key regional and national stakeholders to understand their priorities and to use this knowledge to help shape the Celtic Sea Leasing Round team’s bid
  • identifying opportunities to raise awareness of the Group, its projects, and to extend external influence to maximise impact on stakeholders
  • analysing regional and National Government policies and developing our advocacy positions on offshore wind, and supply chain development as well as on other policy areas as required.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • can work independently, with a strong sense of when it is important to seek clarification and advice from your colleagues
  • have been educated to degree level and have experience of working in a public affair, policy, or parliamentary role, or have other relevant experience
  • can develop a good understanding of complex public affairs positions and are capable of clearly explaining positions to others internally and externally
  • are a clear and concise communicator with strong presentation skills
  • have a good understanding of the political or energy policy landscape in Wales, the Southwest and preferably also in the UK, and have substantial experience with developing and managing stakeholder interactions.
