Where we operate

We’ve expanded our solar and storage portfolio significantly in recent years. Today, we develop, construct, and operate solar and battery storage systems and currently have 1,028 MWAC of solar PV and storage installed and 1,179 MWAC  under construction.

Solar and storage centres in France
  • Les Abeilles
    Status: In operation

    Location: Charente-Maritime, Nouvelle-Aquitaine, France

    Number of solar panels: 11,424 panels

    Solar capacity:  3.78 MWp

Solar and storage centres in Germany
  • Altenschwand
    Status: In operation  

    Location: Bodenwöhr, Bavaria

    Number of solar panels: 18,972 panels

    Solar capacity: 10.4 MWp

Solar and storage centres in Ireland & Northern Ireland
  • Garreenleen Solar Farm
    Status: Under construction  

    Location: 15 km outside of Carlow town 

    Solar capacity: 1st phase 81 MW; 2nd phase 79 MW   

    Target to enter commercial operation: Phase 1 will be delivered by 2026 with phase 2 to follow shortly after.

  • Carnegie Road storage project

    Status: In operation

    Location: Liverpool

    Capacity: 20 MWAC

    In commercial operation since: December 2018

    Carnegie Road storage project is a stand-alone battery system consisting of three lithium battery containers, as well as the associated power conversion systems. The plant is designed to operate flexibly, switching between different markets as its services are needed by local utilities.

  • Eleven Mile Solar Center
    Status: Under construction 

    Location: Pinal County, Arizona

    Solar capacity:  300 MWAC

    Storage capacity:  300 MWAC  

    Target to enter commercial operation: 2024
  • Helena Energy Center
    Status: Under construction

    Location: Bee County, Texas

    Capacity of solar centre component: 250 MWAC
         
    Number of solar panels: Estimated 600,000 mono crystalline photovoltaic bifacial panels from Tier 1 suppliers 

    Expected to enter commercial operation: 2024

    The 518 MWAC Helena Energy Center will comprise co-located wind and solar generation. 

    The approximately 250 MWAC solar centre component will help meet the energy needs of Texas during peak demand periods by providing clean and flexible solar-powered electricity. 

     The project represents a nearly half billion dollar investment in Bee County, Texas, and will generate tens of millions in tax revenue that will enhance the county and school services without raising taxes.
  • Mockingbird Solar Center
    Status: Under construction 

    Location: Lamar County, Texas

    Solar capacity:  approx. 471 MWAC 

    Target to enter commercial operation: 2024
  • Muscle Shoals
    Status: In operation

    Location: Colbert County, Alabama

    Number of solar panels: 670,000

    Solar capacity: 227 MWAC from solar PV modules supplied by First Solar

    In commercial operation since: September 2021

  • Old 300 Solar Center

    Status: In operation

    Location: Fort Bend County, Texas

    Solar capacity: 430 MWAC

    In commercial operation since: 2023

    As of Q1 2023, approx. 80% of the park has been installed. 

  • Permian Energy Center
    Status: In operation

    Location: Andrews County, Texas

    Number of solar panels: 1.3 million panels

    Solar capacity: 420 MWAC from solar PV modules supplied by Jinko Solar and JA Solar 

    Storage capacity: 40 MWAC with one hour of capacity

    In commercial operation since: May 2021
