We call it the Green Energy Barometer. And it reveals that globally, we stand surprisingly united on green energy. 

More than 26,000 people in 13 nations were asked their opinion on renewables by the consultancy firm Edelman Intelligence on behalf of Ørsted.

Most people
believe green energy creates jobs

More than 7 out of 10 people believe investing in green energy will create economic growth and more jobs in their country.

Seniors are keen on green

More than 8 out of 10 of the 55+ years believe renewables are the only way forward.

From left to right, we agree on green

A majority across political standpoints believes renewables are the future. For Conservatives alone, it’s 3 out of 4.

Today, more than 80% of the world’s energy comes from fossil fuels such as coal. But across nations, more than 8 out of 10 people believe it’s important to power the world 100% with renewable energy.
